As family and newborn photographers, we often influence the little ones in our lives and our own children. We create aspiring mini-photographers who want to copy what we do and take photos of their own. However, we don't necessarily want them running around with our expensive equipment or phones. So we've gathered our favourite toys for photography loving children that will let their imaginations run wild and even take their own photos.
1. Our Wooden Camera
Let's be honest, we wouldn't offer it if it wasn't our favourite. This wooden camera is complete with a rotating lens, shutter button and painted with chalk paint on the back so children can draw what they see, letting their imagination run wild and have a break from the electronics.
Made from Latvian birch and European beechwood. Coated with hypoallergenic and natural linseed oil varnish. The coating meets the EU child safety standards and is suitable for children aged 3 and up.
